do you think women are being objectified more now that they sleep around a lot?
compared to the time where women are expected to be prim and proper and can keep their legs closed until marriage?
chickenf… you really think you answered the question, did you?
Yes women are objectified more. I believe it’s because people will use you for what you make yourself useful for. If you act like an object then people will treat you like an object. It really isn’t that complicated. This probably has a lot to do with why women aren’t respected anymore, or at least not as much as they use to be.

they made themselves cheap, yes. they want to be men and think that since men sleep around, they should, too, which is stupid because men can’t get pregnant, and therefore doesn’t have to commit murder just to continue sleeping around. women who sleep around are self-destructive, but you won’t see them admitting their stupidity. you would see them blaming men for it instead.

Well, there’s only one way to prove it, look around, look on TV and in magazines, look at the exploitation going on,
Do YOU think women are being objectified more now? Of course they are.
PS> Many women even before the sexual revolution did not "keep their legs closed til marriage",
but it was kept quiet and was taboo, and women were still treated like ladies.
Let’s not confuse the facts with wishful thinking of the past, OK?
women still had sex before marriage,
most marriages and first born babies were the result of the "shot gun" back then, so stop romanticizing the past.

For every woman opening her legs, there’s a man that’s particpating as well.

well, if you brag about how many times you sleep around, you are obviously making yourself a sex object, and you have no one to blame but yourself. in the past no woman would brag how promiscuous she is. some women in the past do sleep around, too, but as "White Hare" had said, it’s kept secret. anyway, the answer to your question is yes. promiscuous women are objectified because that’s how they advertise themselves — a sexual object. sadly the media encourages this kind of behavior, so, yes, women are being objectified more than before.

hell yes more & more they are far to easy & dirty just like many men these days
attitudemister | May 31, 2009
Yes I believe that they are.
Women are treated more like objects in magazines and some of the worst ones are the ones for women.
Women have wanted to become so much like men and have succeeded so well that they have forgot that a man will not settle or stay long with a woman that "puts out the first night"
We all like the easy ones but there is no way we will keep an easy one

Yes no doubt, our morals that were once controlled by the religions are now controlled by feminism so anything goes for women.
Personally, although I enjoy the company of smart women, they are primarily for sex. I don’t have to marry or commit to get it, its available everywhere.
Men are objectified more than women, women see men as sex objects, money objects, commitment objects, security objects and sperm donor objects.

Yes, but we are mostly doing it to ourselves. If you don’t dress or behave like an object, people generally won’t treat you like one. If you do, then they will because you seem to want them to do so.
And I definitely think that modern society objectifies women way worse than it used to. We are encouraged to be objects and we were not before.
Blue-Eyed Christian | May 31, 2009
Bored Observer basically sums it up. they only got themselves to blame. but guess what, they blame on men and society.
stealthhearts | May 31, 2009
No, I believe that they are objectified more because they wish it. For some decades now, women’s ideals seems to revolve around how much naked flesh they can get away with exposing. It’s not merely their clothing preferences around their chosen sexual partner. It’s their clothing preferences around everyone else. Women’s mags simply jump on the bandwagon.
Why can’t women just think for themselves?
